NAPLES, Fla. (Oct. 26, 2015) – London Bay Homes is midway through construction of the Belita Two-Story, a luxury maintenance-free villa model in Lucarno at Mediterra.

The three-bedroom Belita Two-Story offers a study, formal dining room and a gourmet-inspired kitchen with a freestanding island breakfast bar and adjoining café, home office and walk-in pantry. Two guest suites, each with a walk-in closet and private full bath, are located on the second floor, which also has a loft and wet bar with under-counter refrigerator, and double doors leading to a Romeo and Juliet balcony.

The sliding doors in this model’s living room and nook combine indoor-and-outdoor spaces and showcase views of the lakefront neighborhood as well as its alfresco living areas and fire bowl-flanked pool and spa.

The floor plan also features beamed ceilings in several rooms, a first-floor powder bath and storage under the staircase.

The master suite features his-and-her walk-in closets and double French doors that open to a private patio off the pool deck. The suite’s bathroom offers a separate tub and shower, a vanity with double sinks, and a private water closet.

The outdoor living area offers seating and dining areas and an outdoor kitchen.

The Belita Two-Story has 3,738 square feet of interior living space and 5,308 total square feet, including covered living areas, an attached two-garage garage and a separate single-car garage.

The model is scheduled for completion in January 2016.

London Bay Homes is the exclusive builder in Lucarno, a neighborhood reminiscent of a European village with its cobblestone streets, fountains and 71 lakefront villas. The neighborhood is located in Mediterra’s Garden Neighborhood adjacent to the Parterre Garden, the community’s largest neighborhood park with formal gardens, fountained lake views, sitting areas, and a large reflecting pond with decorative stone frog waterspouts.

Residents in Lucarno enjoy landscape and pool maintenance included as part of the homeowners association. The community is more than 60 percent sold out.

London Bay Homes was one of only two companies named America’s Best Builder in 2008 by Builder Magazine. The company and its affiliates manage all new home sales and marketing for Mediterra, Naples’ premier golf and beach club community and nine-time Community of the Year award winner.

All of the company’s homes are built using the latest information, products and technology available in building science, including the BEP Blue Barrier system that protects against mold issues and structural damage from moisture intrusion.

Additional home designs in Mediterra – a 2013 Aurora Award winner for Best Residential Development in the Southeast U.S. – include single-family estate homes and single-family maintenance-free villas priced from $1 million to more than $7 million. The community is more than 95 percent sold out.

Mediterra offers an array of lifestyle amenities, including The Club at Mediterra, ranked as one of the top private clubs in the world by BoardRoom magazine. The club features two world-class Tom Fazio-designed courses and the private 10,000-square-foot Beach Club on the Gulf of Mexico, featuring an elevated swimming pool, casual dining with a full bar, and valet service for beach chairs, umbrellas, and beverage and food menus.

Mediterra’s onsite amenities include themed neighborhood parks; eight miles of walking and jogging trails; and a fitness complex with tennis and bocce courts, a pool and spa services.

The recent renovation at the 32,000-square-foot clubhouse updated the interior design of the main dining room, expanded the Club Lounge and kitchen, and introduced alfresco dining options, an exposition kitchen and chef’s table.

The club and Tavern on 18 offer formal and casual dining prepared by a staff of award-winning culinary experts. Additional renovations at the tavern added a fire pit to the popular lounge, which serves gourmet brick-oven pizzas, seasonal salads and open-air grilled entrées.

The Club at Mediterra is halfway through a two-year, $6.1 million project to replace the irrigation system, bunkers, cart paths and turf on the South Course.

Mediterra’s Golf Learning Center offers indoor and outdoor hitting stations, video equipment with launch monitor, a 2.5-acre short game practice complex with three greens, and a staff of certified PGA professionals. Membership opportunities at Mediterra are limited to just 225 members per 18 holes.

All of the community’s amenities are membership-owned.
