NAPLES, Fla. (Jan. 11, 2016) – Southwest Florida residents and visitors will have the rare opportunity to explore five luxury model homes in Collier County’s nine-time Community of the Year during the Mediterra Model Home Showcase Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 16-17 and Jan. 23-24, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Model Home Showcase is one of the limited opportunities for the public to experience the gated Mediterra community and explore its intimate neighborhoods.

Guests will explore London Bay Homes’ luxury villa and single-family estate model homes priced from $1 million to more than $3 million, each one paired with luxury automobiles from McLaren Tampa Bay. The showcase provides a rare glimpse inside the 1,700-acre community named the 2013 Aurora Award for Best Residential Development in the Southeastern United States.

Showcase models offer 2,800 to more than 4,400 square feet of living space and feature the latest trends in interior and architectural design by London Bay Homes and the award-winning Romanza Interior Design. The homes demonstrate the builder’s commitment to Private Label Living with luxury finishes and specialty flooring, ceiling and wall treatments, and floor plans designed with multiple alfresco gathering areas for enjoying Florida’s outdoor lifestyle.

London Bay offers an array of options for buyers to customize their home by extending lanais and garages, adding bedrooms, dens or studies, and selecting indoor and outdoor fireplaces, summer kitchens, loggias, porticos and wine cabinets.

Showcase guests will receive a model map and registration form at the gatehouse before beginning their adventure, visiting three of Mediterra’s neighborhoods located near 36 holes of Tom Fazio-designed golf, nature preserves and lakes.

In Lucarno, a neighborhood of luxury maintenance-free villa homes reminiscent of a European village with cobblestone streets, lakes and gardens, two models are open for viewing.

The four-bedroom, four-bath Capriano, which sold prior to completion, has a library/retreat, second-floor game room and 4,402 square feet. The home features a coastal-inspired interior design conveyed through its wood flooring, a vibrant palette of bright blues, greens, yellows, and hints of aqua and tangerine, and weathered wood blended with metal, mirrored and silver finishes. Alfresco spaces offer multiple seating and dining groups, a summer kitchen, outdoor fireplace, pool and spa, and a large second-floor balcony and sundeck. The Capriano also features Cascade blue exterior French doors that match the garage doors and window frames. The model sold on leaseback and is open for viewing through June.

The Eloro, offering three bedrooms, an oversized great room, study and wine pantry, and 3,380 square feet of living space, is located on a cul-de-sac overlooking a lake in Mediterra. Designed by Romanza’s Melissa Allen, the home features a British Colonial-inspired design with bright whites and linen tones in glazed porcelain tile flooring, kitchen cabinets, granite countertops, and painted tongue-and-groove and beamed ceiling treatments; the neutral colors provide the backdrop for a palette of paprika, citrine and smoke.

The floor plan emphasizes alfresco living with a wall of 18-foot pocketing sliding doors opening the great room to covered outdoor living and dining areas, a summer kitchen, and a custom pool and spa.

London Bay’s customizable floor plans in Lucarno offer two to five bedrooms and range from 2,500 to more than 4,000 square feet of interior living space. The neighborhood is more than 60 percent sold out.

In Serata, the four-bedroom, four-and-one-half-bath Delfina model, a single-family estate, features a transitional interior design with turquoise and magenta against neutral off-white, taupe and gray backgrounds. Additional interior features include a pop-up TV hidden within room-dividing cabinetry in the game room and a mix of stainless steel, gray pearl, antique pewter, weathered wood and glass furniture finishes.

The Delfina has 4,329 square feet of living space, formal dining and living rooms and expansive outdoor gathering spaces, a covered verandah and a lanai with summer kitchen. The model also has a custom swimming pool, spa and fire pit.

The Model Home Showcase also introduces three floor plans available at Cabreo, a neighborhood of maintenance-free luxury villas overlooking lakes and nature preserves. Only 23 villa homesites remain available in the neighborhood, where event guests will be able to explore two models.

The Bettina is a furnished three-bedroom, three-and-one-half-bath model home offering a den, dining room and great room within 3,101 square feet. Interior architectural embellishments include crown molding and columns. The villa offers an open floor plan with relaxing views of Mediterra’s lakes and nature preserve from the great room, master suite, kitchen and outdoor living space. Just off the foyer, a den provides additional space for an office or library.

The 2,810-square-foot Angelica includes designer finishes and stainless steel kitchen appliances selected by Romanza. The home features pops of burnt orange and crimson, oak and animal print in a cheetah themed rug in the main living area.

Homes and homesites in Cabreo are priced from $1 million.

Mediterra is located on Livingston Road, two miles north of Immokalee Road and west of I-75. Available home designs include single-family estate homes and single-family maintenance-free villas priced from $1 million to more than $7 million. The community is more than 95 percent sold.

Mediterra offers an array of lifestyle amenities, including The Club at Mediterra, ranked as one of the top private clubs in the world by BoardRoom magazine. The club features two world-class Fazio-designed courses and the private 10,000-square-foot Beach Club on the Gulf of Mexico, featuring an elevated swimming pool, casual dining with a full bar, and valet service for beach chairs, umbrellas, and beverage and food menus.

Mediterra’s onsite amenities include themed neighborhood parks; eight miles of walking and jogging trails; and a fitness complex with tennis and bocce courts, a pool and spa services.
