The Collier Building Industry Association’s (CBIA’s) 2019 Parade of Homes ends today at Mediterra, a 1,697-acre gated community two-miles north of Immokalee Road on Livingston Road in North Naples.

London Bay Homes’ furnished Bianca model, as well as three other models that are not registered in the Parade, will be open for viewing today from noon to 5:00 p.m. The models feature Coastal-influenced exterior architectural styles and open-concept interiors designed by Romanza Interior Design. Custom pools and outdoor living areas by London Bay overlook Mediterra’s spectacular tableau. Purchasers of homes by London Bay are eligible to secure a full golf membership immediately rather than being placed on the membership waiting list as a Limited Golf Member. London Bay manages all new home construction sales and marketing for Mediterra.

London Bay’s Bianca model and the just sold Falerno model have already been named 2019 Parade of Homes Merit Award Recipients in their respective pricing categories. Because it has been sold, the Falerno model is no longer available for viewing. London Bay’s previously sold Catalina model was named recipient of the 2019 Parade of Homes Overall Excellence in Construction and Design in the $4,000,001 - $4,500,000 category.

In addition to viewing the model residences, Parade guests are encouraged to visit the Mediterra Sales Center for information about the community’s award-winning lifestyle. Recipient of CBIA’s Sand Dollar Award for Community of the Year an unprecedented 11 times, Mediterra’s acclaimed array of amenities offers the possibility of living a healthy, active lifestyle with numerous opportunities to connect with other residents or to reconnect with oneself through quiet moments of reflection.

Mediterra’s European Chic-style clubhouse is a favored gathering place. Never stuffy or ostentatious, the clubhouse offers an engaging atmosphere where informal attire, including jeans, is always welcomed. The clubhouse offers formal and informal dining. Whether dining indoors or outdoors, Mediterra’s clubhouse offers an outstanding dining experience in newly expanded and beautifully finished venues. Under the direction of the General Manager/COO Carmen Mauceri, CCM, the clubhouse’s dining options offer a varied menu with unique concepts that include a “doctors’ orders” menu with a selection of healthy items.

Phase I of a two-phase 24,000 square-foot clubhouse expansion has been completed. In addition, 7,000 square feet of existing clubhouse space will be enhanced as part of the initiative that is being undertaken without a member assessment. As part of Phase I, the covered outdoor tavern space and the popular cypress bar and tavern was expanded by nearly 1,400 square feet. Residents now enjoy an outdoor dining experience beneath a permanent roof structure featuring a clerestory element that allows the space below to be illuminated with natural daylight. The space is furnished in various seating arrangements that provide numerous options for different size parties. The timber joist with tongue and groove ceiling structure with ceiling fans, radiant heaters, and recessed can lights will add to the all-weather flexibility of the outdoor dining venue.

A new 1,850 square-foot outdoor covered bar terrace was created and provides unfettered views of one of the community’s two Tom Fazio-designed golf courses. The bar features a permanent roof, 70 seats, 23 bar stools, and over-bar mounted televisions. The outdoor covered bar offers direct access to a new 680 square-foot outdoor covered grille terrace and to the expanded outdoor tavern. New enlarged folding glass doors open to an indoor bar lounge. The new outdoor covered bar terrace is situated adjacent to a new west-facing dedicated fire pit terrace that capitalizes on golf course views during the day and colorful sunset views that can be enjoyed in the late afternoon and early evening. With its proximity to the new outdoor covered bar terrace and soft seating for more than 60 people, the fire pit terrace has already become a popular gathering space before and after dinner.

In addition to healthy dining choices, Mediterra offers a variety of amenities designed to support an active, health-oriented lifestyle. The community’s Sports Club is situated adjacent to the clubhouse at Mediterra’s grand piazza. A fitness center is outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment and offers fitness classes ranging from aerobics to Zumba, wellness programs, personal trainers, aesthetic services, three spa rooms, and a swimming pool with a sunning deck and smoothie bar. The Club’s tennis program is acknowledged as one of the top programs in the country. Tennis facilities include a dedicated tennis pro shop and eight Har-Tru tennis courts, including a coliseum court and a spectator court.

For those who enjoy racquet sports, but feel tennis is too strenuous, Mediterra created a pickleball program that is overseen by Michael Baldwin, Mediterra’s Director of Tennis and Pickle Ball and a USTA Certified Tennis Professional and ITPA Certified Pickle Ball Instructor. Three pickleball courts with a highly forgiving, Laykold masters’ gel surface that reduces the force of impact by 17%, have oversized perimeter areas that allow each court to stand alone without interfering with play on adjacent courts. More than 700 members enjoy competing on the Club’s bocce ball courts. Historically themed parks and water features that are unique to Mediterra are connected by nearly eight miles of walking and biking trails. The peaceful parks offer an ideal setting for moments of personal reflection. Regularly scheduled group yoga sessions are held on the lawn in front of the clubhouse during fall and winter season.

Consistently rated as one of Naples’ most prestigious golf destinations, Mediterra showcases two distinctly different golf courses designed by Tom Fazio. Set against the splendor of Mediterra’s spectacular tableau, the courses weave their way along sparkling lakes, wetlands, and nature preserves. As beautiful as they are playable, each of the courses presents distinctive design characteristics and unique challenges for golfers of every skill level. Members also enjoy the benefits of the Golf Learning Center that offers the latest in swing analysis technology and personalized instruction. Membership opportunities at Mediterra are limited to just 225 members per 18 holes, allowing for abundant tee times. Golf Members are treated to a well-rounded program built upon a robust tournament and instructional offering and a staff focused on genuine service and hospitality.

No other luxury golf course community in Southwest Florida can match the beach experience available to Mediterra residents. In addition to casual indoor and al fresco dining, the private Mediterra Beach Club on nearby Little Hickory Island offers an elevated swimming pool with an expansive sundeck and cabana service for beach chairs and umbrellas that enhance members’ enjoyment of the Club’s pristine beach and the Azure-toned waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
