London Bay Homes announced more than 60 purchase opportunities remain available in Mediterra, a 1,697-acre gated community two-miles north of Immokalee Road on Livingston Parkway in North Naples.

London Bay has transformed Mediterra’s residential offering with the introduction of new neighborhoods showcasing single-family villa and estate model homes with Coastal-influenced exterior architectural styles and flowing open-concept interiors designed by Romanza Interior Design. Custom pools and outdoor living areas by London Bay’s Acquatico pool and outdoor living design company overlook Mediterra’s spectacular tableau. Available choices include London Bay’s new collection of furnished models and unfurnished homes, as well as home sites showcasing water and preserve views. Purchasers of homes by London Bay are eligible to secure a full golf membership immediately rather than being placed on the membership waiting list as a Limited Golf Member. London Bay Homes, an award-winning homebuilder and developer in the Southwest Florida luxury home market for more than three decades, manages all new home construction sales and marketing for Mediterra.

The notion that choice matters is at the core of London Bay’s development strategy at Mediterra. Single-family luxury villas are priced from $1 million in the Cabreo neighborhood, from $1.5 million in Lucarno, and from the high $1-millions to the upper $2-millions in Caminetto. Estate home sites in Cortile are priced from $875,000 to $1.35 million and accommodate residences 4,200 to more than 7,000 square feet. Cortile also features maintenance-free 3,100 to 6,200 square-foot single-family villas with golf course, lake or preserve views. London Bay’s Bettina model in Cabreo and Catalina model in Cortile won 2017 Sand Dollar Awards for Interior Design of the Year Single Family Detached Homes. The Bettina and Catalina are two of the ten completed models at Mediterra and reflect the open floor plans and contemporary interiors London Bay has introduced throughout the community.

The Bettina is one of three completed models in Cabreo. The open-concept floor plan includes 3,110 square feet under air and offers an exceptional level of livability. The plan features a living space with a flowing great room, dining room, and an island kitchen with a café and a walk-in pantry, a study, three bedrooms, four baths, a two-car garage, and a screened outdoor living area with a custom pool, spa, fire feature, covered dining and conversation areas, and an outdoor kitchen.

Priced at $1,985,000 with furnishings, the Bettina model showcases an interior by Luann Powers Gliwski, interior designer at Romanza Interior Design. She created a soft contemporary ambiance in the Bettina with a color pallet that includes papaya and aquamarine accents mixed with warm wood tones against tone-on-tone shades of warm grey. To emphasize the softness and the contemporary look, she incorporated painted finishes rather than more traditional stained finishes. Oversized 24 x 24-inch porcelain tile flooring with a unique undulation is used in the living areas while driftwood-toned oak flooring is incorporated in the den.

“My intention was to create a soft, serene feeling,” said Powers Gliwski. “It’s a private retreat that is relaxed, inviting, and is very elegant and sophisticated in a subtle kind of way. The open floor plan conveys a feeling of carefree fun. It is a very efficient plan. There is no wasted space. Everything is usable. It’s extremely livable and it flows beautifully. I especially like the color palette. It is all very light and muted with light finishes that contrast the Mediterranean styles prevalent in Mediterra in the past. While the shapes and forms that I used are contemporary, the colors are not what you would normally see in high contemporary design. It’s a very soft approach to a contemporary look. The furnishings are comfortable and meant to be enjoyed. Elements such as the feature wall in the great room and the bar stools at the island in the kitchen provide another nod in the direction of soft contemporary.”

Priced at $4,250,000 fully-furnished, the 5,288 square feet Catalina model is a two-story residence in Cortile. The model features an open-concept great room that flows into the kitchen and café. The café opens to an outdoor living space with an outdoor kitchen, island bar, a custom pool, spa and fire pit. The master suite opens to a trellis and patio and includes a bath with a garden shower. The first floor also offers a formal dining room, bonus room, and two guest suites. The second floor includes a loft, wet bar, a guest suite, and an overlook with an outdoor fireplace.

The Catalina model features an interior by Jennifer Stevens, senior design director for Romanza Interior Design. She has created a welcoming interior ideal for entertaining or family gatherings. Light background tones play to the open feeling of the floor plan and are accented by rich, warm contrasts. Flooring in the living space is 24 x 48-inch porcelain tile.

“The Catalina offers multiple places to socialize, including the outdoor area, the bonus room, and the loft,” said Stevens. “With all these places to congregate and the size of the guest bedrooms, the home is perfect for family occasions or dinner parties. I envisioned the great room being the primary social space and displayed art rather than a television on the feature wall. This plan has clean contemporary detailing and London Bay’s team has the precision required to pull it off, giving great attention to the details and the level of finishes. London Bay has given great attention to the details and the level of finish. The great room feature wall has a surface detail with elements that give it depth and dimension. There is a back-lit series of ceiling trays in the galley hall that separates the dining room from the living area. You can also see the level of detail in the loft’s staircase, in the columns that define the dining room, and in the windows featured in the dining room. London Bay has raised the bar with an exquisite level of detail evident in this new season’s model homes.”

Recipient of the 2017 Sand Dollar Award for Community of the Year, Mediterra’s amenities include a 25,000 square-foot clubhouse offering formal and informal dining, the Tavern outdoor lounge, and an open-air terrace with firepits that overlooks the 18th holes of two Tom Fazio designed golf courses. A 24,000 square-foot clubhouse expansion will begin in 2018 and expand the covered outdoor terrace and outdoor lounge areas. In addition, 7,000 square feet of existing space will be enhanced as part of the initiative being undertaken without a member assessment.

A fitness center at Mediterra’s Sports Club offers state-of-the-art equipment. Services include fitness classes, wellness programs, personal trainers, aesthetic services, three spa rooms, and a swimming pool. Tennis facilities feature eight Har-Tru tennis courts, including a spectator court. More than 700 members enjoy competing on the Club’s bocce ball courts. Parks and water features are connected by nearly eight miles of walking and biking trails.

The Mediterra Beach Club on Little Hickory Island offers an unparalleled beach experience. The Beach Club conveys “the magic of the beach” with colors reminiscent of the sand and water and South Beach casual elegance. In addition to casual indoor and al fresco dining, the Beach Club offers an elevated swimming pool with a sundeck and valet service for beach chairs and umbrellas.
