NAPLES, Fla. (April 16, 2015) – London Bay Homes is nearing completion on the new luxury, single-family Capriano villa model in Mediterra. Recently sold on leaseback, the fully furnished model home is the latest addition to the growing list of model homes built by London Bay Homes that have sold prior to completion.

Open for viewing in June, the Capriano is located in Lucarno, a neighborhood reminiscent of a European village within Mediterra’s Garden Neighborhood of fountains and foliage.

Offering 4,402 square feet of living space, the Capriano’s popular open floor plan appeals to homebuyers who enjoy entertaining inside and out, with the great room offering seating and dining areas that flow into the adjoining kitchen and out sliding glass doors to a large outdoor living area.

Featuring interiors by Romanza Interior Design, the Capriano will showcase a coastal-inspired interior design conveyed through its wood flooring, a vibrant palette of bright blues, greens, yellows, and hints of aqua and tangerine, and weathered wood blended with metal, mirrored and silver finishes.

The four-bedroom, four-bath model will offer a library, wine room and a home office next to the kitchen. The second floor will feature a guest suite, full bath, morning kitchen/wet bar and a bonus room, shown as a media center.

The kitchen will offer a freestanding breakfast bar island, a walk-in pantry and built-in desk for a home office.

The Capriano’s master suite will feature a large bedroom, combined walk-in closet and hallway doors opening to the pool courtyard. Its bathroom will offer his-and-her vanities, a water closet, separate shower and a garden tub nestled into a bay window.

The home’s outdoor spaces will recall an upscale resort, with multiple seating and dining groups, a summer kitchen, outdoor fireplace, pool and spa, and a large second-floor balcony and sundeck.

Exterior features will include stacked stone accents, a front courtyard with a patina-washed bench, tumbled paver driveway, and Cascade blue garage doors and window casings.

London Bay Homes is the exclusive builder in Lucarno, a picturesque neighborhood of cobblestone streets, fountains and 71 lakefront villas accented with tile, stone entry walls and authentic Old World architectural features. The neighborhood is more than 60 percent sold out, and is located adjacent to Mediterra’s Parterre Garden, the community’s largest neighborhood park with formal gardens, fountained lake views, sitting areas, and a large reflecting pond with decorative stone frog waterspouts.

London Bay’s newest model home currently open for viewing is also located in Lucarno. The fully furnished 3,380-square-foot Eloro offers a great room, dining room, den and outdoor living spaces.

A leader in the Naples luxury home market for 25 years, London Bay Homes was named America’s Best Builder by Builder Magazine.

All London Bay Homes are built using the latest information, products and technology available in building science, including the BEP Blue Barrier system that protects against mold issues and structural damage from moisture intrusion.

Mediterra is Naples’ eight-time Community of the Year and was recently named the No. 1 retirement community in Florida by Best Retirement Destinations. It received a 2013 Aurora Award for Best Residential Development in the Southeastern United States and ranks as one of the top private clubs in the world by BoardRoom magazine.

The 1,700-acre community offers an array of lifestyle amenities, including the member-owned Club at Mediterra with two world-class Tom Fazio-designed courses and the private 10,000-square-foot Beach Club on the Gulf of Mexico, featuring an elevated swimming pool, casual dining with a full bar, and valet service for beach chairs, umbrellas, and beverage and food menus.

Mediterra’s onsite amenities include themed neighborhood parks; eight miles of walking and jogging trails; a fitness complex with tennis and bocce courts, a pool and spa services.

A recent renovation at the 32,000-square-foot clubhouse updated the interior design of the main dining room, expanded the club lounge and kitchen, and introduced alfresco dining options, an exposition kitchen and chef’s table.

The Club and Tavern on 18 offer formal and casual dining prepared by a staff of award-winning culinary experts. Additional renovations to the tavern added a fire pit to the popular lounge, which serves gourmet brick-oven pizzas, seasonal salads and open-air grilled entrées.

On the links, Mediterra is undergoing more than $14 million in renovations of its North and South courses to accommodate a growing membership.

Mediterra’s Golf Learning Center offers indoor and outdoor hitting stations, video equipment with launch monitor, a 2.5-acre short game practice complex with three greens, and a staff of certified PGA professionals. Membership opportunities at Mediterra are limited to just 225 members per 18 holes.

All of the community’s amenities are member-owned.

Mediterra’s master plan includes more than 1,000 acres dedicated to open space with golf, parks and nature preserves.
