NAPLES, Fla. (May 6, 2014) – The newly updated MediterraNaples.com website improves the luxury home buying experience for buyers interested in Naples’ eight-time Community of the Year. Designed for easy navigation, the new site provides both mobile and desktop visitors instant access to information about the homes, lifestyle and amenities that make Mediterra the premier golf and beach club community in Naples.
The website’s clean design and user-friendly navigation ensures visitors can easily explore the community’s available homes and floor plans, learn about its two Tom Fazio-designed championship golf courses and the private Gulf of Mexico Beach Club – the top three reasons buyers choose Mediterra, according to Mark Wilson, president and CEO of London Bay Homes, which oversees community sales and marketing.
“More homebuyers are searching the Internet,” said Wilson. “Whether it’s on a home/work computer, their mobile phone or tablet device, they want to easily find information on available homes, prices and community amenities.”
A joint study by the National Realtors Association and Google revealed that 90 percent of homebuyers rely on the Internet as a primary research source and 52 percent start their house hunting online. Google real estate-related searches grew 253 percent in four years, with searches using mobile devices increasing 120 percent year-over-year from 2011 to 2012.
The Bokka Group 2013 Home Buyer Conversion Report, which included homeowners of Mediterra, reported that digital tools of influence consisted of virtual tours, testimonials, messages from the builder, photo galleries, videos and a mobile-friendly interface – all of which are included in the new site.
Typing in MediterraNaples.com takes visitors to the community’s home page, where alternating screens highlight Mediterra’s Italian-influenced homes and its golf and beach club amenities. Visitors have the option to download an interactive brochure or click through to homes and amenities. Tabs at the top offer similar options along with links to Mediterra’s preferred builders, photo galleries, a site map and community overview.
Visitors can easily search for homes by neighborhood and filter results by price range and square footage. They can also browse all 40 available homes and floor plans displayed alphabetically with price. Basic information – number of bedrooms and bathrooms, square footage and neighborhood – can be viewed by scrolling the cursor on each plan. A click-through option provides more details about the home and a basic floor plan, or visitors can navigate to a PDF floor plan showing available options.
Video model home tours are offered for select homes. Visitors can explore fully furnished model homes that showcase fabrics, furnishings and luxury upgrades and options that provide the homebuyer with a true sense of their dream home.
Additional videos highlight a variety of activities at Mediterra including tennis, bocce, casual and fine dining at the club, fitness, aerobics and yoga at the Sports Club and the private Beach Club.
Guests can schedule a private tour of Mediterra with just one click or take advantage of a dedicated online concierge that is ready to answer any questions.
MediterraNaples.com also offers exclusive photo galleries allowing users to explore custom one-of-a-kind homes, single-family estates and luxury villas inside and out – from their curb appeal and backyard pool areas to professional interior design capturing Mediterra’s lifestyle in color and comfort.
“Each gallery now displays photos at full screen size, with a “back to site” button that takes the visitor back to the main photo gallery page with a single click,” Wilson said. “This allows our visitors to see the details of the photograph.”
The 1,700-acre master-planned Mediterra is the eight-time winner of the Collier Building Industry Association’s Community of the Year award and received a 2013 Aurora Award for Best Residential Development in the Southeastern United States.
Mediterra offers an array of lifestyle amenities, including the member-owned Club at Mediterra with 36 holes of Fazio golf and the private 10,000-square-foot Beach Club on the Gulf of Mexico, featuring an elevated swimming pool, casual dining with a full bar, and valet service for beach chairs, umbrellas, and beverage and food menus.
Mediterra’s onsite amenities include themed neighborhood parks; eight miles of walking and jogging trails; a fitness complex with tennis and bocce courts, a pool and spa services; and the 32,000-square-foot clubhouse offering formal and casual dining prepared by a staff of award-winning culinary experts.
Recent renovations expanded The Club at Mediterra’s terrace and added a fire pit to the popular Tavern lounge, which serves gourmet brick-oven pizzas, seasonal salads and open-air grilled entrées.
Mediterra’s Golf Learning Center offers indoor and outdoor hitting stations, video equipment with launch monitor, a 2.5-acre short game practice complex with three greens, and a staff of certified PGA professionals. Membership opportunities at Mediterra are limited to just 225 members per 18 holes.
All of the community’s amenities are membership-owned.
Mediterra’s master plan includes more than 1,000 acres dedicated to open space with golf, parks and nature preserves. The community is more than 90 percent built out.
Since December 2009, London Bay Homes and affiliates have managed all new home sales and marketing for the luxury community. Resale properties are listed through Mediterra Realty.
Available home designs in Mediterra include single-family estate homes and single-family maintenance-free villas priced from the $800,000s to more than $7 million.
