Six beautifully designed and furnished model residences are being featured during London Bay Homes’ Winter 2019 Model Home Showcase that continues today at Mediterra, a 1,697-acre gated community located two-miles north of Immokalee Road on Livingston Road in North Naples.
The models will be open for viewing and purchase today and for the next three weekends. The models will be open on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 5:00 p.m. Luxury vehicles from Naples Motorsports will be on display. Naples Motorsports offers a variety of luxury supercars, including Karma, Lotus, McLaren and Maserati. They currently have the largest inventory of Ferrari’s in Naples. Homesites showcasing water and preserve views are also available. Purchasers of homes by London Bay are eligible to secure a full golf membership immediately rather than being placed on the membership waiting list as a Limited Golf Member. London Bay manages all new home construction sales and marketing for Mediterra.
Each of London Bay’s models features Coastal-influenced architectural styles and open-concept interiors designed by Romanza Interior Design. Custom pools and outdoor living areas by London Bay’s Acquatico pool and outdoor living design company overlook Mediterra’s spectacular tableau. The models are situated in new neighborhoods introduced by London Bay that present luxurious single-family villa and estate homes.
Life at Mediterra on Livingston Parkway in North Naples is all about choices. Lushly landscaped roadways, soothing water features, a majestic clubhouse that anchors the community’s amenity core, and luxurious residences set against golf course, preserve, and water views all speak to Mediterra’s rich, award-winning history. Named recipient of The Collier Building Industry Association’s Sand Dollar Award for Community of the Year Over $1 Million on eleven occasions, Mediterra’s acclaimed array of amenities offers the possibility of living a healthy, active lifestyle with numerous opportunities to connect with other residents or to reconnect with oneself through quiet moments of reflection.
Mediterra’s grand 25,000 square-foot Mediterranean-style clubhouse is a favored gathering place offering formal and informal dining, the Tavern outdoor lounge experience, and an inviting outdoor open-air terrace with firepits that overlooks the 18th holes of the community’s two Tom Fazio-designed championship golf courses that are the jewels of the community. Never stuffy or ostentatious, the clubhouse offers an engaging atmosphere where informal attire, including jeans, is always welcomed. Under the direction of Carmen Mauceri, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and winner of the American Culinary Federation Award of Excellence and Chef de Cuisine for a Presidential Dinner, The Club at Mediterra’s dining options offer a varied menu with unique concepts that include a “doctor’s orders” menu with a selection of healthy items.
Phase I of a 24,000 square-foot clubhouse expansion has been completed. The project expanded the clubhouse’s covered outdoor terrace and outdoor lounge areas that have become increasingly popular with Mediterra’s youthful and highly social residents. In addition, 7,000 square feet of existing clubhouse space is being enhanced as part of the initiative that is being undertaken without a member assessment.
Consistently rated as one of Naples’ most prestigious golf communities, Mediterra showcases two distinctly different golf courses designed by Tom Fazio. Set against the splendor of Mediterra’s spectacular tableau, the courses weave their way along sparkling lakes, wetlands, and nature preserves. As beautiful as they are playable, each of the courses presents distinctive design characteristics and unique challenges for golfers of every skill level. Members also enjoy the benefits of the Golf Learning Center that offers the latest in swing analysis technology and personalized instruction. Membership opportunities at Mediterra are limited to just 225 members per 18 holes, allowing for abundant tee times.
If the two Tom Fazio-designed golf courses are the crown jewels of Mediterra, the 10,000 square-foot Mediterra Beach Club on nearby Little Hickory Island is the community’s Holy Grail. No other luxury golf course community in Southwest Florida can match the beach experience available to Mediterra residents. The Beach Club conveys “the magic of the beach” with colors reminiscent of the sand and water and South Beach casual elegance. The bar area has a sporty feeling with large screen televisions and a wine bar overseen by Mediterra’s two sommeliers. An extensive wine list includes 20 wines for $20 per bottle. Carmen Mauceri oversees the Beach Club’s culinary team of executive chef Chris Fragola and sous chef Shane Dorey, both of whom are certified chefs de cuisine. The chefs vary the menu on a regular basis while retaining the diners’ favorites. The Beach Club also offers an elevated swimming pool with an expansive sundeck and cabana service for beach chairs and umbrellas.
Mediterra’s Sports Club is situated adjacent to the clubhouse at the community’s piazza. A fitness center is outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment and offers fitness classes ranging from aerobics to Zumba, wellness programs, personal trainers, aesthetic services, three spa rooms, and a swimming pool with a sunning deck and smoothie bar. The Club’s tennis program is acknowledged as one of the top programs in the country. Tennis facilities include a dedicated tennis pro shop and eight Har-Tru tennis courts, including a spectator court. Three pickleball courts with a highly forgiving, Laykold masters’ gel surface have oversized perimeter areas that allow each court to stand alone without interfering with adjacent courts. More than 700 members enjoy competing on the Club’s bocce ball courts. Historically themed parks and water features that are unique to Mediterra are connected by nearly eight miles of walking and biking trails.
Mediterra is a place that is still becoming, a place that continues to expand its amenity and new home choices to create a more thoughtful, more relaxed approach to luxury living that reflects the preferences of homebuyers who crave livability, fun, and personal connections over the formality of their parents’ country club lifestyle. New home choices remain available at Mediterra, including London Bay’s furnished models. London Bay has transformed Mediterra’s residential product offering with the introduction of new neighborhoods showcasing single-family villa and estate model homes with exterior architectural styles that pay homage to the community’s Mediterranean roots and open flowing interiors with captivating designs overlooking long-range water and preserve views. Single-family luxury villas are priced from $1 million in the Cabreo neighborhood, from $1.5 million in Lucarno, and the high $1-millions to the low $3-millions in Caminetto. Estate homesites in Cortile are priced from $875,000 to $1.35 million and will accommodate residences measuring 4,200 to more than 7,000 square feet. Cortile captures the élan of an idyllic Mediterranean coastal village and also features maintenance-free 3,100 to 6,200 square-foot single-family villas with splendid golf course, lake or preserve views. London Bay’s Catalina model in Cortile won a Sand Dollar Award for Interior Design of the Year Single Family Detached Homes in its pricing category.
