London Bay has created a new concept in luxury villas in Mediterra’s Lucarno neighborhood that blends the unmatched splendor of Naples with the distinctive intimacy of the Old World. The neighborhood’s sparkling lakes, glorious gardens, and majestic fountains are characteristic of the timeless, natural beauty found in Northern Italy. Unique maintenance-free lakeside villa homes offer five individual floor plans with design options ranging from 2,900 square feet to over 4,000 square feet. At build-out, Lucarno will include 71 lakeside villas priced from $1.5 million.
Currently priced at $2,250,000 fully-furnished, 3,257 square feet under air Falerno model in Lucarno is a short walk from Mediterra’s spectacular gardens and oriented to provide sparkling lakefront views. The Falerno’s open-concept floor plan features an adjoining great room, gourmet kitchen, and dining room, a private study, three bedrooms, four bathrooms, a covered outdoor living area and kitchen, a custom semi-circular pool with a spa and a curved fire feature, and a three-car garage. The master suite features a spacious walk-in closet and a luxurious master bath with dual vanities, a free-standing soaking tub, and a walk-in shower.
The Falerno’s timeless transitional interior design style is grounded in a color palette that includes neutral vanilla-toned backgrounds with amber, slate, and grey-toned accents. Light-toned oak wood flooring is presented in seven and a half-inch wide planks with an Aspen finish. Extensive contemporary millwork details are found throughout the home’s living areas, including over transom doors as well as on accent walls in the great room surrounding the study doors. The great room and dining room’s spectacular seventeen and a half-foot ceiling is finished with two coffers fashioned from tongue and groove pyramid style millwork painted in a muted tan tone that contrasts the vanilla tone walls beautifully. Two large chandeliers with a blacksmith finish are suspended from each of the pyramids. A millwork banding set just below the transom windows on the great room’s feature wall and above the sliders leading to the outdoor living area provides an additional note of richness. A stained wood media cabinet is centered between the windows on the feature wall. Additional furnishings in the great room include a high wingback chair and an 81-inch tall wooden sculpture that complement the media cabinet, a neutral sofa with textured amber-toned accent pillows, a pair of modified wingback chairs with nail head trim and a harlequin tweed fabric, an antique bronze end table, a zigzagged matte finished black iron table, a large square end table with a mink wood finish, and a square burled-wood finished cocktail table. The combination of the wood flooring, the elaborate ceiling treatments, and the use of the metal and wood elements conveys an organic, earthy feeling that will envelope the home’s residents in absolute comfort.
The adjacent dining area is anchored by a rustic table with a triple-trestle base and a wood top finished in vintage acacia. Upholstered dining chairs convey a more contemporary feeling. The kitchen’s perfectly sized island features a honey seamed base topped by an alpine granite counter with bronze-toned veining that conveys a strong sense of movement. Three counter stools with iron bases and medium brown sloped rattan seats provide comfortable seating. A linear lighting fixture with five pendants that look like mason jars is suspended over the island. Alabaster Shaker-style perimeter cabinets play against Taj Mahal quartz countertops. The neutral backsplash has been fashioned from 4-inch by 12-inch white glaze porcelain tile.
The Falerno model’s spacious outdoor living area provides yet another ideal gathering place when entertaining. The countertops in the outdoor kitchen are a dark man-made material with a square edge and attractive veining that play against a stainless-steel vent hood and cabinetry drawers. A circular bronze dining table and chairs are perfect for entertaining while the conversation area is outfitted with wicker chairs with empire dove fabric and a u-shaped brown glass cocktail table. An additional seating area with contemporary bronze-finished lounge chairs with oatmeal toned cushions is grouped around a fire pit.
