NAPLES, Fla. (Dec. 2, 2015) – Romanza Interior Design has been selected to create the interiors for London Bay Homes’ Isabella Two-Story, a single-family estate model home currently under construction in Mediterra.
The four-bedroom, five-bath Isabella Two-Story is located on one of the last homesites in the Serata neighborhood. The design expands the ground floor and adds a second floor to one of London Bay’s popular floor plans at Mediterra, Naples’ premier golf and beach club and nine-time Community of the Year.
Romanza designer Jennifer Stevens will introduce mixed antique and polished metals, accents of black and teal against white and neutral gray backdrops, and a mix of distressed and amarone-hued wood tones in the Isabella Two-Story.
The model will feature Roman vein-cut travertine flooring in main gathering areas, wood flooring in the den and carpeting in bedrooms and the loft. It will also showcase beamed and decorative ceiling treatments and transitional interior design.
The metallic finish of the foyer’s console table and glimmer of its crystal stone surface will foreshadow the designer’s use of light-catching accents. An antique-gold leaf fixture will illuminate the foyer’s ceiling.
Columns will define the formal dining room, which will have a three-tiered chandelier with slender silver leaf-finished wrought iron arms and golden leaf globes. The round table will combine a gray top with metallic antique pewter and chairs upholstered in a soft aqua velvet. The darker amarone finish of a four-door buffet will contrast the gray finish of the chair legs.
Amarone finishes will appear throughout the great room while duck-egg blue will be introduced in accent pillows paired with neutral upholstery. Furniture pieces will feature satin brass and aged gold finishes and brushed brass nail-head trim. The great room also will have a custom built-in with ash veneer paneling and painted crown molding.
Coffered ceilings above the adjoining café and kitchen will be finished with painted tongue-and-groove inserts. The kitchen’s white Caesarstone countertops and winter white finished cabinetry will provide a crisp backdrop for an arctic gray basket weave tile backsplash. A maple slate freestanding island will offer a trio of stools with diamond motif upholstery and amarone finished legs.
The kitchen also will have a stainless steel Wolf cooktop and oven, a Sub-Zero refrigerator, and Asko dishwasher.
The café’s walnut table will have an antique distressed finish giving it a rustic look that will be matched with armless side chairs featuring pale aqua upholstered seats and woven rattan backs.
The den is located toward the back of the home, giving it views of the pool and homesite and access to the wraparound outdoor living area. The room will have hickory wood flooring, beamed ceilings, built-in white cabinetry accented with softly distressed wood backs and a simple three-drawer aged chestnut wood desk paired with a blue-gray swivel chair. A light-upholstered armchair will feature a black lacquered wood base.
Located on the first floor, the Isabella Two-Story’s master suite will showcase dark wood finish furniture and accents of gold and cream in the upholstered armchair, throw pillow embellishments, and the frame of a chandelier with crystal dove-shaped lights.
The master bath will feature stone flooring and a tile-clad shower with a mosaic floor and wall accent. Its vanity will offer his-and-her sinks, a quartzite countertop and cashmere painted cabinetry with distressed finish.
The bath also has a freestanding oval tub and a private water closet.
Two of the model’s guest suites are also on the first floor and have walk-in closets and private baths.
Duck-egg blue will reappear inside the reveal of a white bombe chest with decorative pulls in one of the guest rooms. Its bathroom will feature pinwheel white with a black dot tile flooring and black cabinetry contrasted with a white quartz countertop.
The second guest suite’s fully upholstered bed will feature a blue-gray fabric with nail-head trim and a picture-framed paneled headboard. A nightstand and desk will introduce worn-black canvas finishes, and the coffered ceiling will be accented with wall covering. The full bath will have a field-green vanity with a low-sheen French cream glaze and ginger-colored stone countertop.
On the second floor, the sitting room will feature a custom sectional sofa with cream- and ocean-hued accent pillows, a maple and matte-platinum cocktail table and a wet bar with maple slate cabinetry, a blue stone countertop, mosaic backsplash, sink and under-counter refrigerator. A wall of sliding glass doors opens to the balcony overlooking the pool.
A fourth bedroom upstairs will offer a king-sized tufted bed with high footboard and a chest finished in metallic starlight with antique mirroring.
The full bathroom will feature chalk-white cabinetry, a salt-and-pepper vanity top, and a shower with a pebble-tiled floor.
The exterior of the Isabella Two-Story is accented with corbels, 12-inch projecting friezes, columns, decorative rosette medallions and copper bronze coach lighting. A trio of insets in the entry tower have iron grills and the custom double front doors feature an oil-rubbed bronze finish.
The model also will feature impact-resistant exterior windows and doors and a columned pool cage.
Outdoors, the Isabella Two-Story’s patio and large living area will offer a full summer kitchen with weather-finished cabinetry, a black galaxy countertop, Wolf grill and SubZero refrigerator.
Chaises and furniture groups will lend a resort-inspired ambience to the outdoor areas, featuring travertine ivory pavers and a custom pool and spa, both accented with mosaic tile.
The Isabella Two-Story has 6,225 total square feet, including outdoor living areas, balcony, side-loading garage and front porch.
The model is expected to open in March 2016.
