NAPLES, Fla. (March 24, 2015) – Two of Mediterra’s newest model homes, scheduled to open for viewing in a few weeks, have already sold. Built by London Bay Homes, the Girona and Capriano are part of the builder’s newest collection of six designer-furnished model homes soon to be complete in the 95 percent sold out community, and the latest additions to the growing list of model homes that have sold prior to or shortly after completion.

London Bay’s single-family Girona model home will showcase the builder’s most popular design. Located in the Cortile neighborhood at Mediterra, the model will feature a traditional interior design and great room, formal dining room, study and a breakfast nook within 3,526 square feet of living space. The Girona model will also offer custom swimming pools and spas, outdoor kitchens, three-car garages and an entry courtyard with fountain. Kitchens will have top-of-the-line appliances and wine refrigerators. Sold on leaseback through December, the model will open for viewing this month.

A second Girona model is also scheduled to open for viewing this month. The model will feature a modern design aesthetic with a gray and ivory palette accented with papaya; box-beamed and tongue-and-groove ceilings; and white- and wood-toned furniture finishes mixed with glass, metallic, caned and woven surfaces. It features shellstone flooring, an ivory and gray kitchen, and a specialty wall treatment in the dining room’s niche.

Located within Lucarno, part of Mediterra’s Garden Neighborhood and reminiscent of a European village with its cobblestone streets, fountains and 71 lakefront villas, the Capriano model will be completed in May and was sold on leaseback through March 2016.

The new four-bedroom, four-bath, 4,402-square-foot Capriano model will offer a library, wine room and home office adjacent to the kitchen. It is being built with a second-floor option that includes an additional guest suite, full bath, morning kitchen/wet bar and bonus room, to be shown as a media center. It also will have an open second-floor sundeck overlooking the pool. The model is being designed by Romanza Interior Design’s Jennifer Stevens, who created the interiors for the previous Capriano Aurora winner, recognized among the best in the Southeastern U.S.

London Bay’s additional models represent four popular designs that sold last season at Mediterra.

The newest Eloro model is also being built in Lucarno. The 3,380-square-foot model will include a study and third bedroom and is the follow-up version to a previous Eloro that sold in 2014 for more than $1.6 million.

The Eloro will also offer an open great room with dining and seating areas, a study, three full baths and a powder room. The floor plan also will emphasize alfresco living with a wall of 18-foot pocketing sliding doors opening the great room to covered outdoor living and dining areas, a summer kitchen, and a custom pool and spa.

Slated for completion in June, London Bay’s second Delfina model will replace the original, which sold within weeks of completion last season. The four-bedroom, single-family estate is located in Serata, a neighborhood of 36 lakefront homes. The 4,329-square-foot home will offer formal living and dining rooms, a family room and the option of a game room. The ultimate home for outdoor living, the Delfina also will offer a private patio adjacent to the master suite, plus a covered verandah and lanai.

Another popular home design in the Serata neighborhood, the Isabella, will get a second story in the new model scheduled for completion this summer. The new Isabella Two-Story expands upon the original’s three-bedroom, three-bath design with a larger ground floor, fourth bedroom, fifth full bath and 4,283 square feet of living space.

London Bay is also building an encore of the Clara model, which recently sold in January. Located in Mediterra’s Garden Neighborhood of Cabreo, overlooking a lake, nature preserves and situated within walking distance of the expansive Parterre Gardens, the three-bedroom Clara is scheduled for completion in June. The largest of Cabreo’s homes, the Clara will offer a generous 3,248 square feet of interior living space, formal dining and living rooms, a den, family room, three full baths and a powder room.

Two additional single-family luxury villas in Cabreo, currently available for viewing, include the fully furnished 3,101-square-foot Bettina, offering a great room, dining room and den, and the unfurnished Angelica with 2,800 square feet, a great room, den and dining area and granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.
