Mediterra features a newly renovated 32,000 square foot Clubhouse that offers fine and casual dining by an expert staff that not only recognize you by name, but will also remember your favorite type of wine. The Tavern at Mediterra, newly expanded to almost double in size, offers casual dining with gourmet brick-oven pizzas, seasonal salads, and open-air grilled entrees by a popular lounge with a fire pit. The new Fire Pit Terrace was lowered from the current outdoor terrace to create a more intimate space and will accommodate 66 members with soft seating. Two water features are now prominent on either side of the centrally located fire pit. The Grille Room offers usual, fine, and healthy cuisine ranging from delicious soups and seasonal salads to exquisite gourmet sandwiches and first-class entrees. A recent expansion of the Club at Mediterra included a new 1,850 square-foot outdoor covered bar terrace that provides unfettered views of one of the community’s two Tom Fazio-designed golf courses. From the bar, residents have direct access to a new 680 square-foot outdoor covered grille terrace and the expanded outdoor tavern.
Fitness and Spa
The fitness center at the Club at Mediterra has everything you need to lead a healthy and active lifestyle. The Sports Club has created a format that allows members to get fit and healthy in a welcoming environment with friendly, knowledgeable, and professional staff, as well as exceptional programming. Currently, the fitness center offers 33 group fitness classes per week with more than 300 members participating throughout the week. Golf at Mediterra is exhilarating with your choice of two Tom Fazio-designed golf courses that are as beautiful as they are playable. The courses were designed to blend in with the nature preserves, lakes, and wetlands surrounding them and have recently undergone renovations to accommodate the growing membership. Both the North and South courses received a new irrigation system, new bunkers, two new pump houses, an improvement of airflow and sunlight, and new turf, specifically premium platinum paspalum grass, an environmentally friendly emerald-green turf known for improved playability and durability. Members can also take advantage of the Golf Learning Center which offers the latest in technology and instruction.
Membership opportunities in Mediterra are limited to just 225 members per 18 holes to ensure tee time availability for members.
