- Closed sales rose 44% in the $2 million category over the past 12 months. This jump can be accounted to more buyers in the market seeking luxury homes and a rise in consumer confidence.
- Overall inventory was down 15% at the end of February 2014 compared to the end of February 2013. Standing inventory is moving steadily now and prices are likely to continue their upward ascent as inventory decreases.
- Another sign of increasing demand is the decrease in Days on Market by 44% between February 2013 and February 2014. Homes are on the market for less time and yet commanding a 14% increase in median price.
